Over Quinteto Zárate:

De groep heeft diverse muziek op het programma, waaronder arrangementen van de muziek van Astor Piazzolla zoals de prachtige stukken Verano Porteño, Libertango, Otoño Porteño. Maar ook de amusante en virtuose arrangementen van H.Salgán en een groot dansrepertoire. Quinteto Zarate wordt veel gevraagd om voor dansers te spelen.

Quinteto Zarate heeft de productie "Ensueños de Tango" zzeer succes vol afgerond.

To be provided by the promoter/venue:
1 grand piano, tuned to 442 Hz
The concert can ONLY take place if the piano is tuned to 442 Hz as this is the tuning of the bandoneón.
For pianos normally tuned to 440 Hz, the piano will have to be tuned twice to stay in tune

Sound system (P.A.)
Quinteto Zarate always plays amplified. Because the group would still like to sound acoustic, a high quality sound system and microphones are essential. The preferred sound systems are Apogee, Meyersound or D&B. The required size/capacity depends on the size and acoustic qualities of the venue/room. An extra, delayed speaker system is required in venues that are more than 25 meters (approx. 80 ft.) long.

The sound control unit must be in the room - not under a balcony - and absolutely not in a separate sound or control booth.
